TIMELINE – where I’ve been, where I’m going

FAITH & EDUCATION – what, they’re not the same thing?

Fundamentalist Christian upbringing (Plymouth Brethren, don’t hate!)
Christian K-12 education at a school where my lovely mother teaches foreign languages and Bible class!
A little college education, mostly at a small Presbyterian school in Tennessee
Started a nondenominational church in downtown San Diego where I served as worship leader for five years
Now part of a community of faith called Missiongathering

EMPLOY – i love nonprofits

Currently: a collaborative partnership of museums & cultural institutions in beautiful Balboa Park
Previously: a San Diego civic & community leadership development agency, a mall developer, and a financial giant where I’m pretty sure part of me died

OTHERWISE - what compels me

I still dig Jesus after all these years and want a life that resembles his – big bonus if I figure out the whole water into wine thing
Gay & very happily partnered to a handsome scientist
Advocate for equality in society and an inclusive Church
Dreamer & writer who is working on that novel & screenplay that are going to change the world
Lover of music, former singer/songwriter who still sings and writes
Traveler who loves America’s national parks, beaches, mountains, deserts, and Mom ‘n Pop restaurants
Proud papa to Winslow, a border collie who watches over me from the next life
